Francesco Bencardino and Pietro Mazzuca from the University of Calabria, along with Roberto Realfonzo and Annalisa Napoli from the University of Salerno, participated in the The New Boundaries of Structural Concrete 2024 conference, held at the University of Tor Vergata in Rome from September 19 to 20. They presented their research on the impact of different alkaline activators and precursors on the physical, chemical, and mechanical characteristics of mortars. The event provided an excellent platform for discussing the latest advancements in eco-sustainable materials and technologies, while also promoting the STRIPES project.
