Members of the STRIPES project, Francesco Bencardino, Roberto Realfonzo, Luciano Ombres, Annalisa
Napoli, and Sebastiano Candamano, participated in the Italian Concrete Conference, held in Florence from
June 19 to 21. They presented work on the development of alkali-activated mortars to be used as matrices for
FRCM composites. The conference was valuable for updating on the latest advancements in scientific
research related to materials and technologies for eco-sustainable mortars, as well as for promoting the
research project.
